Customer Support Specialist

The SKKR Customer Support Specialist Team (CSS) serves as the central hub for communication and coordination across all retail and vendor partners. Acting as the first point of contact, we ensure inquiries are resolved quickly and that stores, and corporate teams stay seamlessly connected. By managing daily operations, system processes, and key administrative functions, this team provides the backbone of efficiency that enables SKKR’s sales and field teams to focus on driving growth and delivering exceptional client service.

Houseware Demo

Established as a subsidiary of SKKR back in the early 1970’s, Houseware Demo’s serves as a frontline consumer faced training event business. The consumer-faced training event, hosted in partnership with our retail store, is designed to educate and inspire participants through a hands-on grilling experience centered around real food preparation and knowledge of products we represent and that are sold in the store. Attendees engage directly with the product while learning grilling techniques, temperature control and flavor development through the features and benefits of the grills, accessory products and fuel we represent. The event builds confidence in grilling, reinforces best practices and highlights how quality accessories, fuels and grills enhance the overall cooking experience. The result is an informative and engaging session that connects education with enjoyment and leaves the consumer empowered to grill with consistency and pride. Events strengthen the retailer’s role as a trusted resource for expertise and solutions, meaningful in-store engagement and creates a memorable brand experience- leading to the retailer’s commitment to consumer success.

  • Representative plans the event date, time, and details with the retailer
  • Representative coordinates logistics with the Housewares Demo Event Coordinator
  • Housewares Demo Event VP schedules the demo and works directly with the demonstrator to ensure a smooth, well-organized event
  • Demonstrator plans the menu based on event goals, timing, and audience
  • Demonstrator sets up the training/demo space according to retailer and representative objectives
  • Demonstrator leads recipes, food prep, cooking, and instructional training on grills and accessories, with support from the representative for larger-scale events
