PC Richard & Son

P.C. Richard & Son is a large, family-owned chain of appliance, television, electronics, and mattress stores primarily located in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania tri-state area. Founded in 1909 by Pieter Christian Richard,  as a part-time home repair business in Bensonhurst. The business grew so quickly that P.C. leveraged it into his own hardware store in 1909.  The company moved to Ozone Park Queens in 1924 and began to sell and service appliances as the country shifted from gas lighting to electrification.  It grew considerably in the following 50 years and now offers a wide range of products, including home furnishings and smart home technology, along with services like installation, product servicing, and customer support.
